'The Life Mixtapes' are a collection of unrehearsed annual recordings – a radio show for my (future) children.

Since the age of 18, around the time of my birthday each year, two separate digital audio recordings are made.

In the first, 'The Mixtape', I recollect and play music that was influential in the previous year of my life, including how they were discovered and any memories or stories associated with them. The second recording, 'The Chronicle', serves as an aural diary, detailing in rough chronological order a summary of notable events and related sound clips from that year.

From the age of 18 onwards, my children will then receive the corresponding mixtape each year for their birthday.
